DU admission 2020 process to fill up the seats in all the colleges under the University can stretch longer than expected. In a drive to fill the seats, DU released its sixth cut off list on July 21 which is more grounded as compared to the earlier ones. Though the classes have already started at DU, the process of releasing cut-off lists is still going on to fill the remaining seats or the seats getting vacant due to the cancellation of admission. Admission to most of the courses in top colleges have already closed, but certain colleges still have vacant seats to fill which DU sixth cut-off list 2020 has been released.
Students need to visit the college on Saturday to check whether they meet the cut-off requirement or not. Those qualified under DU 6th cut-off 2020 can complete the admission process till Tuesday.

Colleges offering admission in DU 6th cut-off 2020 are Daulat Ram, Gargi College, Hans Raj College, Lady Shri Ram College, Miranda House, Shyam Lal Evening College, Sri Venkateswara College and a few other colleges.
Previously, after the sixth cut off list from DU, B.Com (Hons) course was available at 94 percent in ARSD while BA English (Hons) was available at 93.5 percent in Daulat Ram College. While DCAC, SRCC and Jesus and Mary College, among many others, had closed admission for science courses, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College was offering admission into B.Sc Physical Science and Chemistry at 78 per cent. Similarly, admission for B.Sc Physics was available at 95 per at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College.
Even when the admissions were closed for general category in most of the colleges under DU, OBC category had the maximum number of seats available, which was somewhere around 2500. Hans Raj College, one of the reputed North Campus colleges in Delhi University, had no seats left vacant for general category. However, BA Economics (Hons) was available at 87 percent for SC category and BA English (Hons) for OBC category candidates at 90 percent in the last year.
The admission after the release of the 6th cut off list will remain open if any seats are to be filled completely. After this, the University is to release the 7th cut off list and the admission will remain open for the vacant seat until August 2020.
Students who have already registered on the centralized admission portal of DU need to apply again for the vacant seat. After the application process is over, colleges will release the merit list.
