The Andhra Pradesh examination authority has started with Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGECET) Counselling 2020 and it will continue till July 24.

AP PGECET Counselling serves the purpose of allotting seats to the students seeking admission in M.Tech and M.Pharmacy courses in the state.

Candidates are required to be present on the notified date and time at the rank-wise Help Line Centre with the original documents and AP PGECET counselling fee.

Documents required for AP PGECET Counselling 2020

• AP PGECET Admit Card 2020
• Degree Certificate of qualifying examination
• SSC certificate (if applicable).
• 10th, 12th and graduation passing certificate
• Domicile certificate
• ID Proof
• Residence certificate of Parents (If candidates studied from outside the state of AP/Telangana)
• Transfer Certificate (TC)
• Category Certificate

Note: Candidates should note that counselling fee is non-refundable.

Candidates who belong to SC/ST category have to pay Rs.450 and others will have to pay Rs.900.

AP PGECET Web Counselling Procedure

1. Candidates are required to register on the official portal of AP PGECET
2. Pay the counselling fee
3. Verify document
4. One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile number after saving web option.
5. Collect the Receipt of Certificates from the counter after document verification
6. Select the course/college option (take a printout of the saved options) and submit
7. Seat will be allotted in the order of preference of choices
8. Download the provisional allotment letter and report to the allotted college.

Note: Candidates who will not report to the allotted college in specified time frame, admission will be cancelled.

If candidates want to cancel their admission and again want to appear in the second round of counselling, they have to pay the counselling fee again as a fresher candidate.

If an applicant wishes to withdraw from the counselling, they have to submit an application to the helpline centre along with receipt of the certificate.

AP PGECET was conducted on May 25 and 27 and the results were declared on June 4.
