CLAT 2020 Result – Chanakya National Law University, Patna has declared the CLAT Result on 29 May 2020. The Common Law Admission Test-2020 was conducted on 14th May 2020 (Sunday) at various centres across the country. The organizing authority has already released the answer keys on 16 May 2020. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now check their scores and rank through the result of CLAT 2020. to access the result, candidates are advised to keep their Registered Email ID and Password handy. The result of CLAT 2020 exam was announced online, on its official website. Hence, in the case of any issue in accessing the result link, candidates can visit the official web portal of CLAT, http://clat.ac.in. Based on the result, candidates can seek admissions in the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered at the 18 NLUs of India, participating in CLAT exam. Along with the result, CNLU Patna and the CLAT Committee have also released the merit list of all those candidates who appeared in this law entrance examination.
Candidates have to follow the below-mentioned procedure to check the CLAT 2020 result.
The score card or result contains the following details-
In case two or more candidates have equal marks, the higher rank will be considered on the basis of the following:
Qualified candidates will be called for counselling, from 05 June 2020 onwards. It will be a centralized counselling and seat allotment process that will be conducted as per merit-cum-preference basis.

On the basis of the rank and marks scored, candidates can take part in the counselling process, to be commenced from 05 June to 06 June 2020. Candidates who attain the required CLAT cut off marks will be called for the counselling rounds of the 18 NLUs. On basis of the candidate’s rank and score, a merit list will be formed. Shortlisted candidates have to follow the below mentioned steps–
Step 1- Candidates need to pay a counselling fee at the CLAT office.
Step 2- After fee payment, candidates have to visit the allotted NLU to take part in the counselling rounds.
Step 3- Now, candidates need to lock the allotted seats within the specified time period.
CLAT scores will be accepted by a total of 18 NLUs. There are 2312 seats for LLB programmes and 604 seats for LLM programmes. As per the reservation norms of Government of India, the seats of the participating NLUs will be reserved. Check the seat reservation percentage of different categories here –
