The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK), Banglore invites applications for All India Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET 2013) for admission to nearly 20,000 seats in Undergraduate Medical, Dental & Engineering courses in its 12 Medical, 25 Dental and nearly 150 Engineering Member institutions.
The COMEDK UGET-2013 will be conducted across the State of Karnataka on 12th May, 2013 (Sunday).
About COMEDK
COMEDK was formed by the Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association and the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association in a bid to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine merit of students seeking admissions to the Member Institutions.
Test Scheme
COMEDK UGET-2013 will have the following papers:
(i) For Engineering Course : Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as one paper for three hours duration.
(ii) For Medical and Dental Courses : Physics and Chemistry as one paper for two hours duration besides Biology and English as another paper for one and half an hour duration.
(iii) For Medical/Dental and Engineering courses (Both) : Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as one paper for three hours duration besides Biology and English as another paper for one and half an hour duration

a) Candidates are required to mark their answers on an OMR Answer sheet (Optical Mark Reader).
b) Each correct answer is awarded one mark.
c) No Mark/s will be awarded for multiple marking (marking multiple responses) of any question.
d) There will be no negative marking.
e) However, in the event of a tie in the score the principle of least negative responses (Number of wrong answers) will be adopted. In addition, if required, other methods may be adapted to break ties vide para-38.
