Delhi University M.Com Admission is scheduled to begin from May 31, 2020 for the 2020-2020 academic session. Delhi University offers Master of Commerce as a regular course and also as a distance learning program. The regular M.Com course is offered at the north and south campus of the university, while the distance course is offered at the School of Open Learning (SOL).

The Department of Commerce, established in 1967 is responsible for Delhi University M.Com Admission process. M.Com at Delhi University is a two year (four semester) full-time flagship course of the department, which is considered as one of the most prestigious courses in the country.

University of Delhi has announced the admission schedule of Post Graduate Programmes for 2020-2019 academic session. All the eligible applicants, looking for admission in Master of Commerce shall remember that registration for the course will begin on May 31, 2020.
The procedure for Delhi University M.Com Admission begins with the Registration for entrance test. After qualifying the entrance test, the student will have to present supporting educational documents. Only after the verification of the previous academic record, a student’s admission to the Master in Commerce shall be guaranteed at the University of Delhi.
Students seeking admission into the M.Com course in the University of Delhi must fulfil the below mentioned eligibility criteria. Delhi University M.Com Admission is done through two ways – direct merit based admission and admission through entrance test.
For direct merit based admission, the merit of under graduate degree is considered. A separate merit list is made for candidates in general and reserved categories. Following table will give you an idea about the percentage of marks required in graduation to directly find a seat in M.Com.

Securing the required percentage of marks in graduation does not necessarily guarantee Delhi University M.Com Admission. Students could be denied admission if the number of applicants (with requisite marks) exceeds the total number of available seats.
In this academic session, Delhi University will be conduction online entrance tests for admission to Master of Commerce programme. Candidates will be selected based on the entrance test conducted by the Department. Even the candidates willing to sit for the entrance exam will be required to meet a minimum eligibility criteria. Entrance test for Delhi University M.Com Admission will be of 200 marks. The 3 hour exam will be a written test based on 200 objective type questions. The question paper will be divided into 5 units – Economics, Accounting, Business Standard and Mathematics, Business organization and Management and General Knowledge and Current Affairs. All units will comprise of 40 questions each, and each question will carry equal marks. For convenience of the applicants, the standard of the syllabus for the question paper will be similar to that of B.Com (Hons) programme at the Delhi University.
After successfully qualifying the entrance test for Delhi University M.Com Admission, the candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling. For the counselling, the qualified candidates will be required to bring their documents for verification. The documents – mark sheets of graduation, matriculation pass certificate or mark sheet, migration certificate and character certificate – must be in original.
When applying for M.Com programme at University of Delhi, your application form should be accompanied with the following documents:
· Graduation Mark Sheet attested by a gazetted officer or notary public
· Attested migration certificate provided by the university/college you last attended
· Attested Character Certificate issued by the university/college you last attended
· Attested copy of the matriculation mark sheet as proof of date of birth
· Three passport sized, recent photographs
· Attested certificate of category (if applying for a reserved category).

For convenience of students, Delhi University M.Com Admission programme allows students to choose two elective subjects in Semester III. The students can select elective groups from the following trades –
· Finance
· Marketing
· Taxation
· Human Resource
· Insurance
· Computer and Information Technology
· International Business
· Applied Economics
Note: Once elective groups are selected, they remain the same for semester III and IV. The elective groups cannot be changed during the course.
At Delhi University M.Com. Programme is divided into two parts. Each Part comprises two Semesters.

Admission fee for Part I and Part II is as follows:
· The M.Com fee for Part I is Rs.4001.00/-
· The M.Com fee for Part II is Rs. 3001.00/-
Department of Commerce, University of Delhi does not allow any students for examination in any semester after lapse of four years from the date of admission in Part I – semester I, of M.Com course.
