Home > Articles > Cut-off for JEE (Advanced) 2015 Down to 105 from last year’s 115
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday, April 27 had published the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2015 on their official website.
Out of nearly 12.5 lakh students who had appeared for the competitive engineering entrance examination, only 1.5 lakh students will be eligible to sit for the JEE Advanced 2015 which is scheduled for May 24.
CBSE has also announced the cut-off to appear for the JEE Advanced 2015. This year, the cut-off for general category is 105 marks, which is lower than last year’s 115.
There are multiple factors that determine the cut-off for JEE Mains. The cut-off marks for each category is different. In order to be eligible for the JEE Advanced 2015, candidates are expected to score equal or more than the decided cut-off for their respective category.
