Every Year, University of Delhi (DU) conducts entrance examinations in order to get admissions into PG programmes in the university. DU has announced the admission schedule of various PG programmes for the academic session 2020-18. It offers various PG courses. The Department of Commerce runs the prime course of Master of Commerce for which the department was established in 1967. This is one of the most prestigious courses in the country. The registration process will be completely online. Online registration for all the PG Programmes will begin from May 31, 2020.
There is a common Web Portal for the centralized registration of candidates and a common registration form for admission to all the PG/Master’s Courses in the University. As a first time user, you have to register on this portal by providing Email ID and Password. On completion of this process, a verification email will be sent to the email account with a confirmation link. You will have to click to confirm the registration. Now, log on to the PG admission portal using your registered email ID and created password to fill the online registration form.
The foreign nationals seeking admission in the University/its colleges shall have to get themselves registered with the Foreign Students Registry (FSR) in compliance with the schedule notified by the FSR. No Foreign students will be admitted directly by the Department/Colleges. The website link is http://fsr.du.ac.in. All the categories of foreign students shall come under the same category of 5% quota for foreign nationals for admission.
The candidates seeking admission in various courses of Delhi University have to fill the DU 2020 Application form. 50% seats of the PG programmes will be filled by direct admission of the students of the University of Delhi and the remaining 50% seats will be filled through the entrance exam plus interviews.

The entrance examination shall be conducted at the Centres located in the following cities:
The candidate can choose any one of these cities for appearing in the entrance examination through the online registration.
The duration of the entrance examination shall be two hours. The question paper shall be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type.
The Entrance Exam will be based on the following syllabus:
*Each of the five units carries equal weight. The standard of the above syllabus will be similar to that of the B.Com (Hons.) course of University of Delhi.
The Admit Card will be available from June 2020 on the official web portal of Delhi University. The Candidate should carry a print out of the admit card in for the exam, along with a valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter’s ID card, PAN card, Passport, Driving License etc.).
The results of Delhi University Entrance Examination will be announced in the first week of July 2020 (Tentative). The admission will be based on the merit list and candidates will be allotted to various colleges under Delhi University accordingly.
