At the home stretch for admissions, everyone usually expects most courses in colleges to be taken by the end of the 3rd Cut-Off. However, DU admissions have managed to take everyone by surprise yet again! With some of the popular courses in leading colleges still open for admission, here are a few highlights of the shocker that this list has come up with. Surprisingly, colleges like SRCC have come out with a third list for Economics (at 97.35%) for the General category, which shut in the first cut-off only last year. In addition to that, LSR has shown a 4% drop in the PwD category for BCom Honours and Hindu has reopened admissions for the OBC category at 94.75% for the same.
Four colleges- Jesus and Mary College, SGTB Khalsa, SGND Khalsa and Janki Devi Memorial College have closed admissions and have not released any third cut-off list yet in the hope that the Delhi High Court will grant them a minority status.
Students who have not studied the subject they are applying for or have not included it in their best of 4 will suffer a disadvantage of 2.5% in their percentage. Admissions basis the third cut-off began on July 4, 2015 and the timings are from 9am to 1pm for most colleges.
