The tentative schedule for DU Entrance Exam 2020 for PG Courses in Science are out. Delhi University (DU) is one of the most prestigious universities in India offering various undergraduate and post graduate courses in different disciplines of Science, Commerce, Arts etc. The university has announced the dates for various courses and the registration process for PG courses will commence from May 31, 2020.

With high competition, it is no wonder that getting admission in DU is tough. The university follows a process of both merit-based and examination-based admission process. Those who have completed their undergraduate degree from Delhi University need to fill the online form and check the cut-off list to get admission in the desired course. Those seeking admission through entrance exams need to follow a different process. The admission process through entrance exam includes these steps:

To secure a seat in the PG courses in Science stream, you must have a B.Sc. or B.Sc. Honours degree with relevant fields, either from DU or its equivalent university. You need to have at least 55% marks in aggregate to apply for the entrance exam.
Students seeking admission to PG courses in Science in DU need to fill the DU 2020 application form. The university conducts entrance exams only for post graduation courses and for 50% seats only. The first preference to fill these 50% seats is given to the Delhi University students. Students need to fill the application form timely to take the entrance exam and get admission in the desired course. Students who belong to SC/ST/PwD categories need to pay INR 250 registration charges for each course and fees for General, OBC, etc. is INR 500.
The online registration for PG admissions will start from May 31, 2020.
After successfully applying for the PG courses in Science, applicants will get the Delhi University Admit Card which they can download from the university’s portal. Make sure you take a printout of the Admit Card and keep multiple copies of the same to avoid any problems during the exam.
To ensure that students don’t face any difficulty in getting entry into the examination hall, they should carry the following documents with them:

The entrance exam syllabus for a postgraduate course in Science includes the B.Sc. syllabus of DU or the syllabus given on the Science department’s website.
