With the fourth cut-off list out, Delhi University is heading towards the end of its admissions process. Usually, fourth cut off is a cut-off with only closed scrawled across each and every category for all courses and colleges. However, this year, the situation is highly different. Every year General category fills up the fastest, however, this admission season Hansraj has closed admission for History honours in all categories but General, which is open at 94.25% with a drop of 0.75%. Shutting admission after the first list last year, SRCC still has seats in Economics in all categories up for grabs! With massive shuffling evident between colleges by students, Venky has reopened admission in BCom Programme for the ST category at 84.5% while Hindu has shown a massive drop of 20% for a course like BCom Honours for the SC category at 92.5% and LSR shows a drop of almost 5% in Economics for PWD.
Students who have not studied the subject they are applying for or have not included it in their best of 4 will suffer a disadvantage of 2.5% in their percentage. Admissions basis the third cut-off began on July 8, 2015 and the timings are from 9am to 1pm for most colleges.
