Delhi University has established itself as the best university in the country attracting students from all across the country. This results in intense competition, evident from the approximate 3 lakh applications for a meager 54,000 seats this year. With only a slight drop of 0.25-1% among most courses, a few colleges like Kamala Nehru and Kirori Mal have closed admissions for a popular course like BCom Programme.

Students who have not studied the subject they are applying for or have not included it in their best of 4 will suffer a disadvantage of 2.5% in their percentage. Admissions basis the second cut-off begun on 30^th June, 2015 and the timings are from 9am to 1pm for most colleges.
