I. National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT – JEE)

About the exam

NCHMCT –JEE is conducted for admission to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology and its affiliated Institutes for B. Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration. Other courses offered include M.Sc., PG Diplomas, and Diplomas & Certificate courses.

Eligibility Criteria

• Pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination (of any recognized Central/State Board) or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. 
• Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2013 on provisional basis subject to proof of passing at the time of admission.
• H.S.C. Vocational Examination.
• Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects.
• General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.

• Last Date for receipt of filled-in form: April 11, 2014
• Availability of Admit Cards on NCHMCT website: April 19, 2014 (1400 hours onwards)
• Written Examination (JEE 2014): April 26, 2014
• Result of JEE on website  : 2nd week of May, 2014
• Conduct of Counseling:  1st week of June, 2014
• Commencement of Academic Session: July 28, 2014

II. AIMA - Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT)

About the exam

Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) is a standardized test being administered by AIMA annually to screen the candidates for various under graduate programs such as BBA, BCA, BHM and integrated MBA etc. You need to check the institutes/colleges/universities accepting UGAT score from the official website/ bulletin.

Eligibility Criteria

• The minimum qualification is 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.

Electronic – Common Hotel Admission Test (E-CHAT)

About the exam

International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) conducts the E-CHAT exam for admission to B.A in Hospitality Management, Advanced Diploma in International Hospitality Administration and B. Sc in Hotel Management, Catering & Tourism. The entrance exam is following by group discussion & interview for shortlisted candidates. E-CHAT will be conducted online.

Eligibility Criteria

• Class 12 examination or its equivalent with English as one of the core subjects
• Students appearing for Class 12 exams can also apply
• Age should not be more than 24 years
• Written exam will be followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates

IV. HM- 2014 - Bharatiya Vidyapeeth University Hotel Management Test

About the exam

The Bharatiya Vidyapeeth University Hotel Management Test allows you to take admission in undergraduate courses at Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Pune and College of Hotel & Tourism Management Navi Mumbai for both degree and diploma courses.

DTE HMCT is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra for admission to hotel management related courses in Sneha Mahila Vikas Sanstha’s Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Nagpur.
