COMEDK is responsible for organising the COMEDK UGET 2012 (Under Graduate Entrance Test) for the academic year 2012-2013, for candidates aspiring to pursue under graduate courses in MedicalDental and Engineering Colleges in Karnataka in member institutions of the Consortium (Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges)

Lakhs of students appear for the pre-medical/dental and engineering examinations like COMEDK UGET and the numbers have only increased over the years. Knowing how to prepare for an exam like COMEDK UGET 2012, will solve half the problem for you. So here are some preparation tips for aspiring doctors/dentists/engineers/architects:

  • Your NCERT books are your Bible. Clear your fundamentals through them before picking up any additional books. In fact, most of the questions of COMEDK UGET 2012 would be based on the NCERT text books
  • Once you are well-versed with your text books, start building up your knowledge with books like Objective Biology by Dinesh, Arihant Objective Approach to Physics Vol II , Pradeep Objective Chemistry by SN Dhawan, SC Kheterpal and PN Kapil etc.
  • It is advisable to start your preparations for COMEDK UGET 2012 right from class XIth. Join a good coaching institute if you feel you need an external source to instil discipline and to be a part of a good study group against whom you can constantly assess yourself. Also, the mock tests conducted by such institutes are a big help in building up confidence and and setting the pace for the actual exam. (You can also practice free mock papers of COMEDK UGET 2012 here: COMEDK UGET MBBS/BDS & COMEDK UGET B.E)
  • Devote a good number of hours for regular and daily studies and revision. Align your biological clock in such a way that you take simulated/mock tests around the same time as the actual exam would take place.
