JAM Eligibility Criteria 2020- The online registration was commenced on 05 September 2020. Before filling the online forms, aspirants should check the eligibility criteria of IIT JAM 2020 will give you an insight into the academic qualifications, age limitations, and other criteria that you must fulfill for admission in various programmes offered at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. It is essential for candidates to check the IIT JAM 2020 eligibility criteria before filling the IIT JAM application form.
IIT JAM is a national level post-graduate entrance level test conducted by IITs. IIt Bombay is the organizing institute of JAM 2020 Exam. Here, we have provided the complete eligibility criteria ofJAM Exam.

- The candidate must have secured at least 55% aggregate marks without rounding off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for General/OBC (NCL) category candidates. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.
- The applicants appearing for the final year examinations will be eligible to apply for JAM 2020, provided they present the proof of passing the qualifying exam by September 30, 2020.
- There is no age limit for the candidates to apply for JAM 2020.
- For candidates with letter grades/CGPA (instead of the percentage of marks), the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the Admitting Institute(s).
- Proof of having passed the Qualifying Degree with the Minimum Educational Qualifications as specified by the admitting institute should be submitted by September 30, 2020.
