IT JAM 2020 (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) is a national level exam conducted by the IITs and IISc concurrently. IIT Bombay will be the conducting body of the exam of IIT JAM 2020. The Joint Admission Test (JAM) for Master of Science (M. Sc.) will be tentatively held in the month of February 2020. About JAM 2020 Exam

JAM 2020 is a computer based test conducted in online mode only.

The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

IIT JAM 2020 exam carries 100 marks

There will be 60 questions in total

The exam is divided into three sections: Section A, B, and C.

No marks will be deducted for short answer and multiple selective-type questions whereas there will be negative marking for the multiple choice questions.

JAM2020 will be conducted for a total of seven test papers which are divided into 2 sessions.

The first session will be held for the following subjects: Mathematics, Biological Science, and Physics

The second session will be held for the following subjects: Mathematical Statistics, Geology, Biotechnology and Chemistry
