IRMA 2020 - Institute of Rural Management Anand organizes an entrance examination for admission to its management programs. It offers post graduate diploma in rural management program (PGDRM), fellowship program in rural management (FPRM). IRMA Social Awareness Test 2020 is a computer based examination carrying total 40 questions of multiple choices. The total duration of IRMA 2020 is 80 minutes. IRMA is a national level entrance examination which is expected to be conducted in the month of February 2020. The registration process of IRMA 2020 is scheduled to starts on 1st October 2020. This process will finish in the third week of January 2020. For short listing the candidates for IRMA 2020, the institute will consider the scores of CAT 2020 or XAT 2020. Hence, if any candidate who wish to apply for IRMA 2020, s/he needs to appear in XAT 2020 or CAT 2020. There is no role of IIMs in IRMA admission process. The interested candidates need to fill IRMASAT form and they have to submit it before the last date. There are two post graduate programs offered by Institute of Rural Management Anand. Both these post graduate programs have different eligibility criteria. These have been mentioned below:
A candidate studying in final year of his/her graduation can also apply for IRMA 2020 but they are required to satisfy IRMA 2020 eligibility criteria during the admission process. Foreign nationals, NRI sponsored applicants, NRIs, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are required to have a valid GMAT/GRE score which is taken after January 2012, XAT 2020 or CAT 2020 for PRM batch 2020 – 20.

The candidates who can satisfy the above mentioned eligibility norms; they can apply for IRMA 2020. The online application portal of IRMA opens on 1st October 2020. Candidates who are planning to for taking admission in Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM), they can fill the form in both online and offline. A candidate needs to have valid, active email address which is needed at the time of registration. Along with this the candidates need to have passport size photographs and image of their signature handy. Candidates need to fill all the details carefully. The candidates, who will submit the form successfully before the deadline, will be issued admit card. The institute will release the admit card. The candidates need to visit the official website, download it from here and they need to take prints out of it. IRMA admit card contains several important information of the candidate such as personal details, exam centre, exam time etc. It is very important to carry the admit card as a candidate without admit card will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
The institute is expected to conduct IRMA 2020 examination in around 18 states of the country. The candidate needs to select one exam city as per his/her convenience. A list of 18 states has been given below where the exam is expected to take place.
As per the previous trend of IRMA examination, it is an 80 minutes’ duration examination. This exam will carry 40 marks and all are objective types with multiple choices. The exam has only one section which is known as “Issues of Social Concern”. The candidates are required to select correct answer out of the five options given.
Institute of Rural Management Anand checks the awareness and understanding of the candidates generally on the social issues and other related concerns. If we look at the exam patterns of previous years, there should be one section in the exam. The questions which are generally asked in the exam are on topics which cover social issues and general awareness concerns. As per the previous trends of exam syllabus of IRMA, following are the main topics which are covered in this exam:
The institute is likely to announce the release of IRMA admit card in the first week of February 2020. Once the admit card is released official, the candidates will be able to download it. It will be released online on the official website (https://www.irma.ac.in/). The candidates need to visit the website and need to download it by putting their credentials i.e. form number and date of birth. The admit card is a very important document. The candidates are required to carry their admit card to the exam centre. The candidates can be asked to show the admit card and if they are unable to produce it, they won’t be allowed to appear in the examination. Hence, admit card is the key to enter the examination hall. The exam admit card has all the basic information of the candidate such as candidate’s details including name, date of birth, roll number, exam details such as venue, time, guidelines etc. The institute will not give any hard copies to the candidates.
The candidates should expect the result in the fourth week of February 2020. The institute will announce IRMA result in the form of scorecards. In order to check the result, the candidates are required to visit the official website of the institute. The result will have both overall scores as well as sectional scores of candidates who appeared in the examination. Once the institute declares the result, it will release a list of shortlisted candidates. The list will be based on the performance of the candidates in the exam. After releasing the list of shortlisted candidates, the institute will invite the candidates for group activities and personal interview. The process of group activities and personal interviews is scheduled to take place in the first week of March 2020. The entire process is supposed to finish by fourth week of March, 2020. The institute will give admission to the successful candidates.
IRMA cutoff is the minimum criteria which a candidate needs to satisfy so that s/he can get shortlisted for the next round of selection process. The institute will release cutoff marks along with the result. The table given below contains the cutoff of IRMA of previous year.

According to the selection procedure of IRMA 2020, the institute will call the shortlisted candidates for next rounds of selection process i.e. in the group activities and personal interview. The institute will release the final merit list. By the fourth week of February 2020, the list of shortlisted candidates should be released. And as per the expectation, the final merit list should be released in the fourth week of March, 2020. Candidates who are planning to take admission in Fellowship in Rural Management program, they need to clear all the rounds of admission process which include an admission test followed by personal interview and a presentation of an essay.
