The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to publish the official answer key of the JEE Main exam on April 18, 2020. It will have solutions for the JEE Main 2020 paper 1 for subjects like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. This is going to be much later than the JEE main answer key by Motion ITT-JEE.

But since it is the official answer key, students can use it to compare the solutions or challenge the solutions given in the key. The key will be available with the OMR answer sheet for offline and online test.

How to download JEE Main Answer Key

When downloading the JEE Main answer key you need to keep certain things in mind. Picking up the wrong answer key can lead to wrong estimation of scores. Once the marking schematic is understood proceed to refer to the JEE main answer key by Motion IIT-JEE that is available just a few hours after the main exam or the official answer key which is available at a later time.

Challenge JEE Main Answer Key

It is to be noted that you cannot submit the challenge on basis of JEE main answer key by Motion IIT-JEE as it is not official. The official answer key can be challenged from 18 April – 22 April (till 5PM), and for each challenged question, the candidate will have to pay Rs 1000 online. The fees can be paid through an e-challan or credit/debit card which is non-refundable.

To do this, they will have to fill an application form by logging-in to the official website. Once they have logged-in, they have to enter the JEE Main application number, date of birth and an automatically generated security PIN.  

Once the candidate has completed the formalities, JAB (Joint Admission Board) will decide if the challenge is legitimate. Their decision will be considered as final and no further challenges on the same will be entertained.

So, candidate need to double check the JEE main answer key by Motion IIT-JEE or the official JEE Main answer key generated by CBSE before submitting any challenges.   

JEE Main Cut-off 2020

After calculating the total score from the answer key, students can check the predicted cut-off scores for JEE Main 2020 to check their eligibility for JEE Advanced 2020.
