JEE Main Exam Pattern 2020 is designed by the exam conducting body, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). According to JEE Main exam pattern, the engineering entrance test will be an objective-type test. The total duration of the JEE Main exam will be of 3 hours (1 hour extra will be given to physically disabled applicants). Candidates who wish to appear for JEE Main 2020 must strategise their preparation based on the exam pattern for JEE Main.
JEE Main exam pattern is all about multiple-choice questions and each question will have 4 responses. The candidates have to choose one appropriate response. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark and every incorrect response will be penalised with 25% marks. The candidate is required to use Blue or Black ballpoint pen for offline mode. JEE Main entrance exam is a ticket to the premier IITs, IIITs, NITs and other reputed engineering institutes - government and private - throughout the country.
