JEE Main Syllabus 2020- Every candidate preparing for JEE Main must study the syllabus of JEE Main announced by CBSE. As CBSE is the exam conducting authority for JEE Main 2020, it announces the topics and subjects covered in the exam syllabus. JEE Main syllabus makes an integral part of preparation plan as it helps them streamline their timetable and other strategies. Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is a national level undergraduate entrance exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to grant admission to various engineering programmes. All the IITs, NITs, IISc, ISM and some private engineering institutes accept JEE Main score to grant admission to various engineering programmes available with them. JEE Main exam pattern 2020 will give you a glimpse of the type of questions asked in the exam. As per JEE Main exam pattern, Paper 1 will include questions from chemistry, physics, and mathematics while Paper 2 will have three parts including aptitude test, drawing and mathematics. There will be a total of 90 questions in Paper 1. It will be 30 objective type questions from each subject. Paper 2 will have 50 questions in the aptitude test, 30 questions from mathematics and 2 questions to check drawing skills of the candidates.

JEE Main syllabus 2020 will cover topics from all the three sections namely, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology for Paper I and Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing Test for Paper II. Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech/ BE courses will appear for JEE Main Paper I and for this they need to study physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Candidates who want to apply for B. Architecture/ B. Planning courses need to take JEE Main 2020 Paper II and the syllabus for this include topics from Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing. Candidates who want to apply for both the courses need to appear in both Paper I and Paper II and study all the subjects covered in JEE Main 2108 syllabus.

Objects, Awareness of materials, places, persons, buildings, visualizing 3D objects from 2D drawings, Analytical Reasoning Mental Ability (Numerical, Visual and Numerical), Visualising different sides of 3D objects.
3D Perception: Appreciation and understanding of scale and proportion of objects, building forms and elements, colour texture, harmony and contrast, design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil, transformation of forms both 2D and 3D union, subtraction, rotation, development of surfaces and volumes, generation of plan, elevations and 3D views of objects. Creating 2D and 3D compositions using given shapes and forms.
Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape (market, public space, street scenes, festivals, recreational, monuments, etc) landscape (gardens, jungles, riverfronts, trees, plants etc.) and rural life.
The candidates are required to bring pencils, erasers, own geometry box and crayons and colour pencils for the Aptitude test.
