JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education & Research) invites applications for admission to its MBBS course (for 127 seats) for the academic session 2012-13. The admission is based on an entrance examination that would be conducted by JIPMER at all India level on 27th May 2012 (10am-12.30pm).

• JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam 2012 shall be conducted in ENGLISH medium only.
• The questions for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination 2012 will be based on the syllabus for XI & XII Standard as prescribed by State Board Hr. Sec. and CBSE.

JIPMER MBBS Entrance 2012: Exam Pattern

JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam 2012 will be of multiple choice type questions totalling 200 in the subjects of

• English
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Botany
• Zoology

Each answer with correct response shall be awarded one mark. Zero mark will be given for the question not answered. More than one answer indicated against a question, will be deemed as incorrect response and no mark will be given. There is no NEGATIVE MARKING. There will be four alternatives for each of the question numbering 001 to 200. The candidate will indicate his/her response to the question by darkening the appropriate circle completely with ball-point pen. Use of pencil on OMR sheet is not allowed. OMR sheet filled-in with pencil would be summarily rejected for evaluation.
