Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is one of the prominent technical institutes in the country offering various courses. They conduct entrance examination for Medical and Management aspirants known as the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE).

Eligibility Criteria: 

• The candidate must pass the higher secondary in a full time mode from a recognized board.
• The candidate should study science stream in their 10+2 level and must have 60% marks in physics, Chemistry and mathematics taken together.
• Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2010,2011 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2012 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 years), B.Tech & M.Tech- Dual Degree (5 years), B.Tech & MBA- Dual Degree (5years) course of the University.
• MBBS/BDS - Age: Lower age should be 17 years as on 31st December, 2012 & upper age limit should be maximum 25 years as on 31st December 12. The upper age limit may be relaxed by Five year for SC/ST candidates.
• B.A.LL.B/BBA LL.B/B.Sc LL.B 5 years - Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in the science stream with at least 50% marks , Age:Not completed 21 years of age as on 1st June 2012.

Application Procedure

The candidates can apply for the exam only by the online mode. They can get the form by visiting http://www.kiitee.ac.in or http://www.kiit.ac.in . Candidates can download the form from this website or can register by the online mode. The online applicant must take the print out of the filled form and send to the admission office.

 Reservation of Seats

The PG Medical-2012 Quota Seats are distributed among different categories of candidates as follows. Separate Merit list will be prepared for each Category.

1) Schedule Caste: 15%
2) Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%
3) Physically Challenged: 3%

Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe: Candidates applying for SC/ST reserved category shall get SC/ST Certificate from the Tahasildar of the place of birth at the time of Counseling. 

Score Validity: The score will be valid only at the time of admission and its validity period will get over after all the available seats are filled.
