LPUNEST 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The LPUNEST 2020 Eligibility Criteria provides guidelines about the pre-requisites for appearing for the entrance exam. The students must go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

Students can fill the application form both online and offline. The eligibility criteria for the exam are detailed as under:

Nationality:

All applicants for LPUNEST 2020 entrance exam must be citizens of India.

Qualifying Examination:

For B. Tech Programmes:

The candidate who wishes to appear for LPUNEST 2020 for B. Tech admission must have either completed or should be appearing in 2020 for the final examination of 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE) or State Board or any other council, college, institution that is recognised by the Councils of Boards of School Education (COBSE) or any other concerned apex body.

For MBA Programmes:

The candidate must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent subjects with at least 50% aggregate marks for qualifying LPUNEST 2020 and interview.

Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination:

For admission in B. Tech, B. Tech. (Hons.), Integrated B. Tech - M.Tech and Integrated B. Tech - MBA:

The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) with at least 60% aggregate marks to qualify LPUNEST exam 2020

For B. Tech Biotechnology, B. Tech Biotechnology (Hons.), B. Tech Food Process Engineering, Integrated B. Tech-M. Tech, Integrated B. Tech Food Processing Engineering-MBA, and Integrated B. Tech Biotechnology-MBA

The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board with  Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology with at least 60% marks.

For B. Tech Chemical Engineering, B. Tech Chemical-Petroleum, Integrated Chemical-Petroleum-MBA, Integrated B. Tech Chemical Engineering-MBA.

For engineering courses, students should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English, and have at least 60% aggregate marks to appear for the examination.

For admission in MBA Programmes:

The applicant should be a graduate in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks from a recognised University.
