MAH CET 2020 Admit Card

MAH CET 2020 Admit CardMAH CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is conducted by the Maharashtra state government for admission to full-time MBA/ MMS and PGDBM/ PGDM course. This course will be offered in government institutes, university departments, university managed institutes and in unaided institutes of Maharashtra.

The admission to MBA/ MMS course is done centrally through Centralized Admission Process or CAP by Maharashtra government authorities. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) is the apex body conducting MAH CET every year. The upcoming MAH CET exam is scheduled to take place on 4th and 5th March 2020.

The admit card for MAH CET 2020 are now available on the official DTE website. The admit cards have been issued by DTE, Maharashtra and can be downloaded from its official website.

MAH CET is conducted to offer admissions to management courses provided at various institutes across Maharashtra. Candidates should note that the admit card is of great importance and has to be carried to the examination venue. Without an admit card, the candidates will be not be allowed to appear for the exam.

MAH CET Admit Card 2020

The admit card will contain necessary information like the candidate’s name, test date, test centre, time slot and instructions for the examination, etc. To download the admit card for MAH CET 2020, candidates can follow the following steps -

  • Log on to official website of DTE
  • Click on MAH CET 
  • Click on the Admit Card notification
  • Fill in the details required like registration number, roll number, password and date of birth.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ and download the admit card. Intimation to download the admit card can also be received via email and SMS.

Instructions for Photo Id Proof:

Candidates appearing for MAH CET 2020 should take printout of the downloaded admit card and affix a recent photograph on it (photograph should be a match with the photograph given at registration). Moreover, candidates need to mention the Photo ID proof (other than E-Adhar Card and Ration card) which needs to be carried along with the admit card on the day of the exam. Candidates without the admit card or original Photo ID proof will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates need to carry their hall ticket along with the original photo identity proof. The id proof should have the same details as provided in the hall ticket.

ID proof such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazzetted Officer or People’s Representative on official letterhead accompanied with a photograph. Candidates can also carry a valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College/ University/ Aadhar/ E-Aadhar Card with a photograph/ Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card with photograph. The photo identity proof needs to be given to the invigilator for verification. Candidates must note that if there is a mismatch between the details on the admit card and the identity proof, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the examination. The identity of the candidate will be verified with the hall ticket, the photo id proof, the attendance list and the documents submitted.  Candidates must also note that a Ration Card is not a valid identity proof.

Female candidates must note that in the case of change of their first/ middle/ last name, they need to carry their original marriage certificate, gazette notification or affidavit. If there is a mismatch in the details in their hall ticket and the identity proof, they will not be allowed to sit for the examination.

NOTE: Candidates are also advised to strictly adhere to the test date & time allotted to them. The examination authorities will not entertain any requests to appear in a different time slot. Although the examination duration is 2.5 hours, candidates should report at the exam venue well in time so as to have ample amount of time for verification, logging in, receiving instructions and collecting documents.
