Like all affiliate colleges of Delhi University, Miranda House also conforms to a well-defined intake procedure, where performance is merited. To find your name on the Miranda House Cut-off List for Arts or Miranda House Cut-off List for Science, you need to score a decent aggregate total in your higher secondary exam conducted by CBSE or any other recognised board. As far as enrolments into PG courses are concerned, the college adheres to two intake modes namely – Merit and Entrance. Additionally, age is no bar for admission in any of the undergraduate or postgraduate courses on offer.
Holding true to the directives of the Government of India, the college has a reservation policy in place. Herein, 15 percent seats are reserved for SC candidates, while ST and OBC candidates can stake claims for 7.5 percent and 27 percent seats respectively. Additionally, the college also reserves 3 percent seats for candidates with 40 percent physical disabilities, and 5 percent each for wards of military personnel and foreign students. 5 percent of the total seats are also available under Sports and ECA Quota. As such, Miranda House Cut-off List will be released separately for each category.
Once your name appears on the Miranda House Cut-off List, you need to report to the college to perform all the modalities involved in the admission process. Here, you will be required to follow the admission process after DU first cut-off list. Subsequent to this, you need to submit your documents to the concerned authorities for verification. Your admission process at the Miranda college concludes with paying fees either via online or offline modes.
If in case you fail to make it to the first Miranda House Cut-off List, prefer waiting for the subsequent list. The college comes up with such lists after each counselling session to fill vacancies. Accordingly, staying current with the cut-off lists released by the institute is always recommended. In case your board is late with the result, you can seek admission in whichever cut-off list the result is declared. However, availability of seats will be crucial in any such scenario. Additionally, accomplishing the pre-registration process is also a requisite.
