Home > Articles > MU OET 2020 Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses
MU OET 2020 is a university-level online entrance examination conducted by Manipal University every year for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. This examination is conducted in 50 centres across India.
The official dates are for the exam are yet to be released but it will be conducted tentatively in April and May 2020.

Should have passed BSc with at least one subject of Biological Sciences/BAMS/ MBBS/ BHMS/ BPT/ BPharm OR any other professional bachelor's degree from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. |
MD- Anatomy, Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, Dermatology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Venerology & Leprosy, General Medicine, Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion, Hospital Administration, Pediatrics, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Psychiatry, Physiology, Radio-therapy, Radio-diagnosis, General Surgery, Pulmonary Medicine, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Otorhinolaryngology, Orthopedics Surgery. |
Should have a MBBS valid degree recognised by the MCI. |
PG Diploma- Child Health (Paediatrics), Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Clinical Pathology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Otorhinolaryngology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry and Radio-diagnosis. |

MSc Medical Clinical Embryology |
Should have passed BSc with Zoology/ Reproduction/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology, Bioscience/ Physiology/ Biotechnology, as one of the subjects with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. |
MS (Tech)- Embedded Systems, Medical Software, Embedded & Wireless Technology, VLSI Design, Computing Technologies & Virtualization, VLSI Design and MS Programs |
Should have passed BE/B. Tech/ Equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Information Science, Bio-Medical Engineering, Telecommunication, Mechatronics, Medical Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. |
MASLP |
Should have passed BSLH/BASLP with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university. |
Masters in Physiotherapy |
Should have passed BPT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university. Should have completed their compulsory internship on or before 15.08.2020 |
Master of Dental Surgery/ PG Diploma in Dental Materials |
Should have passed BDS or any equivalent degree recognised by Dental Council of India and should have completed their compulsory rotating internship on or before 30.04.2020. |
Mpharm - Master of Pharmacy or PharmD Post Baccalaureate |
Should have passed B.Pharm with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a Pharmacy Council of India recognised institution |
MSc Nursing |
Should have passed BSc/PB BSc Nursing/ PC BSc with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. Applicants must also have a 1-year experience as on 31.07.2020 after BSc Nursing in a hospital of at least 100 beds or in a community health program or in a school or college of nursing. |

Should have Bachelors degree with 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA 6.5 at UG level in Life Sciences or BVSc or BSc Medical Laboratory Technology or MBBS or BSc Biotechnology or BSc Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Zoology or any other related subjects. |
MA in Film Art & Film Making or MA Media & Communication |
Should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate after 10+2 examination from a recognised university. |
MSc Medical Biotechnology |
Should have passed Bachelors degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in any Life Science subject from a recognised university. |
MSc Regenerative Medicine or MSc Molecular Biology & Human Genetics |
Should have passed BSc with atleast one subject of Biological Sciences or MBBS or B.Pharm or BVSc or BE Biotechnology or any other professional graduate program from a recognized university and a minimum of 60% marks in case of Regenerative Medicine and 50% marks in case of Molecular Biology & Human Genetics in aggregate |
