MU OET 2020 or  Manipal University Online Entrance Test is a university-level entrance exam conducted every year by Manipal University across 50 centres in India. This test is conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes. MU OET 2020 will tentatively be conducted in April and May 2020 and the registration for the same will start in October 2020.

Manipal University Online Entrance Examination 2020 (MU OET) is an online entrance test organized by the Manipal University for the admission to various courses. The qualified candidates are admitted to the various courses under Manipal University.  The application form will be available from November 2020 and the Manipal entrance examination 2020 is expected to be held in the month of April 2020 for the aspirants of MU OET 2020. Applicants wish to give the Manipal Entrance Test 2020 should meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the test.

Candidates who are seeking admission in the UG/PG courses offered by the Manipal University should appear for the MU Online Entrance Test 2020. Manipal University Admission 2020 is done through its online entrance test which will be conducted by the Manipal University all over India.

The candidates should fill the name as it appears in their qualifying examination mark card. The days on which the candidate can appear for the online written test will be ascertained on the basis of total number of applications received for a particular group of courses. In case of any barrier in conducting/giving examination, the candidates are supposed to write the exam for the second time.

Measurement, Force and Motion, Kinematics, Rotational Motion and Rigid Body, Work and Energy, Gravitation, Heat and Thermodynamics Oscillations and Waves, Properties of Matter, Electrostatics, Current Electricity and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Waves, Modern Physics, Optics, Communication Systems, Electronic Devices and Experimental Skills.

Chemistry

• Physical Chemistry

Atomic Structure, States of Matter, Basic concepts in Chemistry, Chemical bonding and molecular structure, Solutions, Redox Reactions, Equilibrium, Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry, Chemical thermodynamics and Surface Chemistry.

• Inorganic Chemistry

Principles and processes of metal extractions, Periodic properties, Hydrogen, d and f block elements, P-block elements, S-block elements, Co-ordination compounds and Environmental chemistry.

• Organic Chemistry

Basic principles of Organic Chemistry, Purification and characterization of organic compounds, Organic compounds containing halogens, Hydrocarbons, Organic Compounds containing oxygen, Polymers, Organic compounds containing Nitrogen, Biomolecules, Chemistry in everyday life and Principles related to practical Chemistry.

Mathematics

• Mathematics - I

Algebra, Logarithms, Partial Fractions, Summation Of Finite Series, Mathematical Induction, Binomial Theorem, Theory Of Equations, Analytical Geometry, Mathematical Logic, Limits And Continuty andTrigonometry.

• Mathematics – II

Algebra, Vectors, Elements Of Number Theory, Matrices And Determinants,
Analytical Geometry, Conic Sections (Analytical Geometry), Definite Integrals, Circles, Differentiation, Complex Numbers, Probability, Differential Equations and Inequalities.

Biology

• Botany 
• General Biology 
• Zoology

General English

Broadly, this paper includes questions on general English like spotting of errors, sentence improvement, vocabulary etc.

General Knowledge

For this section, candidates need to stay updated with current affairs. This can be easily done if candidates read the newspaper regularly.
