SBI PO 2020 Exam Pattern – State Bank of India (SBI) will recruit Probationary Officers (PO) for its various branches after conducting an entrance examination called ‘SBI PO 2020’. Considered as one of the most popular banking exams in the country, SBI PO witnesses thousands of applications every year.
Based on SBI PO 2020 exam, candidates can expect the upcoming SBI PO main exam to be conducted on June 4th, 2020. The registrations for the exam have begun from February 7th, 2020 onwards and will conclude on March 6th, 2020.
General category candidates can attempt for a maximum of four times while candidates belonging to other categories seven times to clear the SBI PO exam.
SBI PO exam is conducted in the form of preliminary round main round. Only candidates clearing the preliminary round in Phase I get qualified for the main round in Phase II. Both the rounds will be held online.
The preliminary rounds will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each, which the candidates will have to answer within 60 minutes. The exam paper will be divided into three parts – English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.

The main round will carry 250 marks and will comprise of two parts – objective section and descriptive section. The objective section will test a candidate’s knowledge while the descriptive section will test his/ her command over the English language.
