SBI PO 2020 Syllabus - State Bank of India exam for Probationary Officers or SBI PO 2020 is a national level banking recruitment examination, conducted to hire POs for various branches of the bank. As the name suggests, the exam is conducted annually by the State Bank of India, which thousands candidates take every year.

Any candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in hand can apply for SBI PO exam. The exam registration for the year 2020 have begun from 7th February, 2020 onwards. The preliminary examinations will be on April 29th, 30th and May 6th and 7th, 2020. The main exams will be on June 4th, 2020. 

SBI PO 2020 Syllabus:

SBI conducts SBI PO exams in two phases comprising of a preliminary round followed by a main round. Bothe the exam will be conducted online.

The preliminary exam will be an objective type paper while the main exam will be a mix of both objective & descriptive type questions.

The syllabus for SBI PO 2020 is provided below.

1. Reasoning Ability section will include topics like Syllogism, Blood Relation, Puzzle, Statement & Arguments, Coding & Decoding, Passage & Conclusion, Logical Reasoning, Seating Arrangements, Data Sufficiency, etc.
2. English Language section will consist of questions on Unseen passage, Spotting Errors, Para Jumbles, Synonyms, Fill in the Blanks, Antonyms, Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, etc. This section will primary test a candidate’s vocabulary and command over the English language.
3. Quantitative Aptitude section will have questions based on Number System, Ratio & Proportion, Time & Distance, Percentage, Mensuration, Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Volume & surface area, etc.
4. Descriptive section may consist of questions on Letter Writing, Reading Comprehension, Paragraph Writing, Essay Writing, etc. These questions may be related to the banking world.
