3rd convocation ceremony celebrated at Jaipuria, Indore

Convocation is one of the most felicitous occasion in any institute and student’s life. This is the time when institute witness the gem it has created and students get a chance to go down the memory lane and cherish those moments which have made them the person they are today.

With the same motive on the occasion of its “Third Convocation Ceremony” on Friday, August 7, 2015 Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore honoured the batch 2013-15.

Prof. Aditi Naidu, host of the evening requested honorable chief guest and other dignitaries to begin the ceremony with lightening of the lamp to evoke Goddess Saraswati. After Saraswati Vandana, Mr. Sharad Jaipuria declared the convocation open.

Shri Sharad Jaipuria in his address extended a warm welcome to Mr. Ghosh and congratulated the students on successfully completing their Post Graduate Diploma in Management. He also congratulated the Director and faculty & staff of the Institute for having successfully completed the four academic years, and remarked that the third convocation would indeed be a grand milestone for times to come.

In the welcome address by Mr. Sharad Jaipuria, he enlightened the audience with the rich and vivid heritage of Jaipuria Institute of Management. He emphasized on character building, knowledge building, personality building and skill building for the wholesome development of students. He asked students to be open towards constructive criticism and work on it. The best way to contribute towards the development of the nation is by increasing knowledge and developing skills.

Diplomas were conferred to all 73 students for having successfully completed their Post-Graduation in Management. Thereafter, awards were given to the deserving students for their outstanding academic achievements. The Chairman’s Gold Medal was awarded to Mr. Ayush Garg, Vice Chairman’s Silver Medal to Mr. Yash Mehta and Director’s Bronze Medal to Ms. Khushboo Chaudhary. Mr. Ayush Garg was the topper of Marketing Management and IT Management as well, whilst Mr. Yash Mehta and Khushboo Chaudhary bagged the Financial Management accolade. Mrs. Archana Jha was awarded for HR specialization in PGDM. For his excellence of teaching Prof. Jagdish Bhagwat was awarded as the best faculty.
