University of Lucknow has made a remarkable decision to pioneer 5-year integrated MBA programme and has become the first in the state of Uttar Pradesh to introduce such a programme.

Inspired by Indian Institute of Management-Indore (IIM-Indore), the university will be commencing the integrated programme from its new academic session. The candidates who have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or are appearing for the 10+2 examination this year can apply for the course.

The 5-year integrated programme encompasses two degrees namely, a 3-year graduation degree which is been shadowed by 2-year MBA programme. The students will attend the same classes as other MBA students during the last two years of the integrated programme.

There are 60 seats in the 5-year integrated course. The programme is designed to bring out a pool of young managerial talents and also to provide good level of industry exposure to the candidates.

“The five-year integrated programme will equip the students with dual-degree (BBA+MBA). The pass outs of the programme are expected to be true management professionals with a rigorous management training to back them. During the course, students will also have the option of choosing specialisations like HR, finance and control, international business, and marketing”, said Arvind Mohan, Director, Institute of Management Sciences, University of Lucknow.
