7th Government Law College International Law Summit is being organized from
January 29-31, 2020. The college welcomes participations from various
Law Colleges in India to make it a successful one.
The summit is organized by the
Students for the Promotion of International Law (SPIL),
Government Law College, Mumbai, and supported by the
World Trade Organization (WTO), Geneva.
Being the oldest law school in Asia, the college since its inception in 1855, endeavoured a seminal role in the evolution of the legal and judicial landscape of India. Generations of legal dignitaries nurtured at Government Law College, have made remarkable contributions to the evolution of Indian jurisprudence.
The Summit functions in a two-pronged manner - catering to, corporate-firms and students. The Summit offers corporates an opportunity to address vast audiences comprising members of the legal fraternity, their clients, corporates, and students from the best law schools from across the world.

Day 1: 29th January, 2020 (Friday) – Inauguration Ceremony, Keynote Address, WTO Web-Conference, Guest Lectures, Paper Presentations by Winners of the Call for Papers Competition;

Day 2: 30th January, 2020 (Saturday) – Internal Rounds of the Judgment Deliberation and Treaty Appreciation Competitions;

Day 3: 31st January, 2020 (Sunday) – Final Rounds of the JDC, Panel Discussion, and Closing Ceremony.
