Shyam Lal College (Eve), New Delhi successfully conducted the annual fest Abhivayanjana on April 6 & 7, 2015.
Special attractions were:
- Live dance performance by artists of Bhartiya Kala Kendra
- High profile professional orchestra
- Digital sound system
- Performances by professional singers of national repute
- Attractive cash prizes for winning students of singing and dance competition "when words leave off" music begins"

Apart from the annual fest the Commerce Department of Shyam Lal College also conducted its departmental fest of April 7 & 8, 2015. The two days extravaganza comprised of

- Dancing (solo)

- Mono act
- Extempore
English Department also conducted a seminar on April 8, 2015 on the topic Realism and modernist/ postmodernist.
