Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) invites applications for Post Graduation Diploma in Management- Business Entrepreneurship (PGDM-BE) and Post Graduation Diploma in Management- Development Studies (PGDM-DS) for the 2020-18 academic session. The exam will be held from 18th to 20th May 2020.
EDII, established in 1983, is a not-for-profit and autonomous institute. Various financial institutions, namely State Bank of India, ICICI Ltd, IFCI Ltd. and IDBI Ltd., sponsor it.
Applying for UG and PG diploma courses EDII offer, candidates need to acquire the application form from the official website, which should be submitted latest by 13th May 2020. Candidates can download the form or fill it up online. Aspirants who wish to apply online can pay using net banking or credit/debit card. For aspirants who want to download the application form should send the completely filled ones to EDII along with a Demand Draft of INR 1000 drawn in favour of ‘Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India’ payable at Ahmadabad.
The admit cards will be available for download from 13th May 2020.
Eligibility
PGDM-BE course: Candidate must have a three-year university degree in any discipline or a four-year degree in Engineering/Medicine/Others, from a recognized university. Minimum aggregate marks acquired should be 50%, which is 45% in case of Reserved Category (as per norms).
PGDM-DS course: The minimum qualification is a three-year degree in any discipline or an equivalent degree from a recognized/deemed university with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Those appearing for in final year/last semester examination are also eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure
PGDM-BE course: Candidates who have a valid score in XAT, MAT, CAT, ATMA, CMAT will be called for EAT (Entrepreneurial Aptitude Test) and PI (Personal Interview). Final selection is based on the performance of the candidate in these rounds.
PGDM-BE course: Candidates with a valid score in XAT, CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA will be called for SAT (Social Awareness Test) and PI (Personal Interview). Final selection will be done based on the performance in these rounds.
Fee Structure
PGDM-BE course: The 2-year, full-time, residential course fee is INR 4,96,000 for the first year and INR 4,94,000 for the second year. This includes the cost of tuition, computer facilities, library, reading material, study visits and student activities. The fee is payable in six instalments over the course duration of 2 years.
PGDM-DS course: Fees for the 2-year, full-time, residential course which includes the cost of tuition, library and computer facilities, reading material, study visits and students' activities is INR 3,02,550 for the first year and INR 2,92,450 for the second year. Candidates need to pay the said amount as per their course and within six instalments over the period of two years.
The hostel accommodation charges for both the courses will be INR 55,000 per year and will be twin sharing. The mess charges will be as per the college norms.
