Engineering Entrance Examinations-

It is absolutely necessary that you know the list of all the important entrances for getting into top engineering institutes in India.

Some of these popular exams are:

·         JEE Main- Joint Entrance Exam for Indian Institutes of Technology

·         JEE Advanced- same as above

·         AIEEE- All India Engineering Architecture Entrance Exam

·         BITSAT- Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test

·         VITEEE- Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam

·         PACET- Planning and Architecture Common Entrance Test

·         ATIT- Admission Test for ICFAI Science and Technology

·         MERI- Marine Engineering & Research Institute Exam

One can sit for these exams as per eligibility criteria, right after class 12th

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2015-

The JEE exam is divided into two levels, namely JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

JEE Main- This is the first round of JEE, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to test the candidates for admissions to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NIT), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad and certain other institutes, for their engineering and architecture courses at the undergraduate (UG) level. This year’s JEE Main (offline) is to be conducted on 4th April, 2015 and JEE Main (online) is to be conducted on 10th & 11th April, 2015 (as per the official website for JEE)

JEE Advanced- This year’s Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2015 (JEE Advanced 2015) is to be conducted on 24th May, 2015 (Sunday) as per the official website. The students who clear the JEE Main exam are eligible to take the JEE Advanced. Clearing this exam makes the candidates further eligible for admission to the above mentioned institutes.
