Engineering Entrance Examinations-

It is absolutely necessary that you know the list of all the important entrances for getting into top engineering institutes in India.

Some of these popular exams are:

·         JEE Main- Joint Entrance Exam for Indian Institutes of Technology

·         AIEEE- All India Engineering Architecture Entrance Exam

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2015-

The JEE exam is divided into two levels, namely JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

JEE Main- This is the first round of JEE, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to test the candidates for admissions to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NIT), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad and certain other institutes, for their engineering and architecture courses at the undergraduate (UG) level. This year’s JEE Main (offline) is to be conducted on 4^th April, 2015 and JEE Main (online) is to be conducted on 10^th & 11^th April, 2015 (as per the official website for JEE)

JEE Advanced- This year’s Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2015 (JEE Advanced 2015) is to be conducted on 24^th May, 2015 (Sunday) as per the official website. The students who clear the JEE Main exam are eligible to take the JEE Advanced. Clearing this exam makes the candidates further eligible for admission to the above mentioned institutes.
