Among the oldest central universities in India, AMU is famous for its own culture and tardition. Founded in 1920 Univesity offers quality education in wide range of discipliines.

 

The University has 12 Faculties, viz. Agricultural Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Engineering and Technology, Law, Life Sciences, Medicine, Management Studies and Research, Science, Social Sciences, Theology, and Unani Medicine, each comprising several Departments of Studies.

 

The University also maintains a number of Colleges, Institutes, Centres and Schools.
