The Wildlife Institute of India (WII) has postponed the interview date for engaging Senior Project Biologist (Three Positions) for a project up to May 14, 2015.

WII invites applications for these posts to strengthen ongoing conservation efforts to safeguard the future of the Asiatic Lion in captivity and in the wild.

The project entitled as “Partnering to support Gir Lion Conservation in Gujarat” is purely on contractual basis for a period of one year which is extendable depending upon the performance.

Eligibility criteria:

Master’s degree in Forestry/Wildlife Science/ Zoology /Life Science with 60% aggregated marks and above from a recognized university
Minimum Two Year Research Experience
Anyone with the age not exceeding 30 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ and physically handicapped categories may be relaxed as per the rules.

Fellowship offered:

Rs. 28000/- +HRA

Attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications
Date of birth certificate
Mark sheets of all examinations
certificate of extracurricular activities, if any
