Candidates appearing for BLDEU SSET 2014 need submit their completed application by today evening, June 26, 2014. The completed forms should reach the address given below by 5:30 pm today. The form can be sent in person/ courier or post.

Checklist of the Documents to Accompany the Completed Application Form
1. Demand Draft for Rs 3000/- drawn in favour of The Registrar, BLDE University, Bijapur payable at Bijapur-586103, Karnataka State. (Write your full name and application number on the back of DD). Check for the banker's signature on the DD. Photocopies of following documents attested by a gazzetted officer should be submitted.
2. Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate of qualifying degree (UG & PG).
3. Registration Certificates UG & PG
4. Attempt Certificates UG & PG.
5. MS General Surgery Marks card and Marks Cards of MBBS course from 1st year to final year including marks cards of failed examinations.
6. The certificate issued by competent authority for candidates claiming lower eligibility under SC / ST / OBC (Karnataka) / Locomotor disability categories.
7. Three additional copies of photographs (write your application number on the back of each photograph and attestation is not necessary) same as pasted on the application form.
Eligibility for BLDE SSET
The candidates who satisfy the following relevant eligibility requirements for admission to Super speciality course will be considered eligible to appear for the BLDEU-SSET-2014 and subsequently for admission to the course.
1. M.S. in General Surgery / or equivalent qualification recognized by Medical Council of India.
2. Permanent registration with Medical Council of India / State Medical Council is mandatory.
3. As specified by Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate courses shall be:
a) General category 50 percent
b) SC / ST & OBC (OBC as declared by Government of Karnataka from time to time) Category 40 percent
c) Candidates with 40 to 70% locomotor disability of lower limbs (as certified by competent issuing authority) category 45 percent.
The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 29, 2014 between 10:00 am and 11:30 am at. The TATs for the same will be issued from June 28, 2014.
