Government Polytechnic, Pratapgarh, conducted a campus placement drive where Mahindra and Mahindra, an Indian multinational automobile manufacturing corporation visited the college for recruitment on February 9, 2020.

The students who have passed 10th (High School), 12th (Intermediate) and Diploma 50% were eligible for the placement process. The students were selected for the post of Farm Equipment Engineer.

A total of 300 students participated in the campus placement process. The minimum salary package offered was Rs. 1,44,000 lakh per annum.

The selection process consisted of written test and interview (objective/subjective). The written test comprised of 100 questions.

Mahindra and Mahindra is an Indian multinational corporation which deals in automobile manufacturing head-quartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is one of the largest vehicle manufacturers by production in India and the largest manufacturer of tractors across the world.[3] It is a part of Mahindra Group, an Indian conglomerate.

Government Polytechnic, Pratapgarh is affiliated to Board of Technical Education, U.P and having accreditations with NBA, a well-established campus currently running various engineering program. The college mission is to train and groom our students in to complete professionals having the highest class of technical skills and moral values.
