The profession may not be the most lucrative one but it is certainly very gratifying. Teachers, especially those who teach at the primary level have a moral responsibility towards the students as it is an age when the children are the most impressionable. A teacher now is no longer just an instructor but is slowly assuming the role of a guiding mentor.

Payoff

Teachers at the entry level earn between Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 per month. At the mid-level one earns over and above Rs 20,000. The salaries vary according to the grade you teach and the school.
