You meet people who forget you. You forget people you meet. But sometimes there are people whom you meet & never forget them for all eternity. Such are the relationships fostered by the students of Aditya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai (AIMSR) past & present. 

 

February the 7th, a splendid occasion for AIMSR – it was the convocation ceremony of the Institute’s first batch of graduates (2012-14). 

 

The seeds that were sown two years back by the ever helpful faculty members have reaped enormous benefits for the students – as well as for the Institute. With effulgent faces the 2012-14 batch sat impatiently in the seminar hall waiting to get their hands on their degree certificates, listening to our Director Madam Dr. Swati Lodha address the institute – tagging along were the current crop of AIMSR. 

 

Dr. Swati Lodha was followed by Mr. Rakesh Mehta & then by Shri Kapila Deva Das who shared their lot of the wisdom with the students on various critical aspects of life, personal & professional. With a stellar career path ahead of them, there are certain virtues of life that will always remain the same- the likes of work ethic, wisdom & being a hard worker, qualities embedded in these students here at AISMR- as knowledge is the wing with which we can fly to the heaven. But this day was more than just a day of celebration of these brilliant achievements of our marvellous students, Dr. Swati Lodha inaugurated AIMSR’s “ALUMNI ASSOCIATION”.

 

The Alumni Association has been established with a vision for enriching the future of the Institute & the students, former & current. Collaboration with each other in the common areas of interest, forging lifelong connect & building relationships that benefit in the development of careers. There are three faculty members who are also a part of the Alumni Association.

 

The end of the ceremony was marked by the traditional mortarboard hats being hurled up in the air. They are out there, making real time contribution to the world & giving us a reason to be proud every moment of time. Let us meet each other always with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of a new dawn.
