All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has begun with its counselling for the PG programmes PG DM, MCh and MHA. The first phase began today, 11th June, 2014 and the second phase of counselling is scheduled to be held on 19th June, 2014.

The list of candidates eligible for counselling is published on their official website. There are two lists given, one gives out the names according to merit and the lists them in order of their roll numbers.

The AIIMS PG entrance exam was conducted on May 11, 2014 and the results for the same were announced on May 15, 2014

Counselling Process

• The eligible candidates selected in the first counselling will be expected to join between July, 1, 2014 and July 15, 2014.
• The number of candidates called for counselling are 8 times the number of seats, in each category. Students can opt for their choice of subjects based on the order of merit and the availability of seats.
• Students, who are allotted seats according to their preference, will not be considered for the second round of counselling scheduled for June 19, 2014.
• A candidate’s seat will stand void if the candidate does not join before July 31, 2014.
• The order of counselling will be General; 50% AIIMS preferential candidates of total MBBS seats of AIIMS; ST; SC; OBC.

Important Documents for AIIMS PG Counselling

1. A copy of the registration slips to be deposited by 9:00 A.M. on June 11, 2014 itself.
2. The originals of the following documents are needed during the counselling:

• Date of Birth
• Proof of belonging to SC/ST/OBC (If Applicable)
• MBBS, BDS Mark- sheets/Degree (including separate mark sheet for each of the professional examinations),
• Internship Completion Certificate
• Permanent Medical Registration Certificate
