As we all know that the last date to fill DU admission form is inching closer with each passing day. Aspirants can fill the application form online by June 19, 2020. As most of the colleges in Delhi are under the centralised online admission process, yet some of the colleges have maintained their own admission processes. Two college names worth mentioning here are St. Stephen’s College and Jesus & Mary College (JMC). Seat Reservation in St. Stephen’s College and JMC 

Both the colleges are Christian minority colleges and are known for their academics. Both the colleges reserve 50 percent of their seats for the Christian minority students. These colleges have separate marks criteria for giving admission to Christian students and others. 

How DU admission process differs to St. Stephen’s College    

The admission process at St. Stephen’s College, in particular,  differs considerably to that of DU or any of the colleges under the university. From this year onwards, candidates who want to take admission in St. Stephen’s College need to first register through the centralised DU admission process. After this, the candidates have to fill in the online form of St. Stephen’s College and include the DU registration number in the application form. 

St. Stephen’s College to close admission prior to DU 

Unlike the DU admission process that will close on June 19, 2020, it is highly likely that St. Stephen’s College closes its admission process on June 17, 2020. 

St. Stephen’s College will release its own cut off list 

St. Stephen’s College won’t be the part of DU’s five cut off list first of which is to come on June 27, 2020. Unlike any other college that will accept DU cut off list, St. Stephen’s College will release its own cut off list post the registration process.
