With many colleges in
Delhi University (DU) announcing their third cut-off list on Monday, many aspirants striving to take admissions in popular courses were not left disappointed.
Though many colleges filled their seats in second cut-offs, seats of many reputed colleges are still up for grabs. Post the announcement of
DU 3rd cut off list, candidates will get three days to take admissions beginning from Tuesday.
Science
Students applying for science courses like Physics, Chemistry and Life sciences still have a chance to apply in
Hansraj,
Miranda and
Ramjas. In Hansraj cut-offs for Botany, Chemistry and Physics stood at 90%, 95% and 96% respectively while in Miranda BSc Life Sciences remained open at 89%.
In Ramjas also admissions remained open for Chemistry with a cut-off percentage of 94%. Most colleges however, closed admissions for science courses with the second cut-off list.
Commerce
In many colleges seats remained vacant for both honours and programme courses in commerce. In south campus’
Lady Shri Ram College admissions remained open for
B.Com (Hons) at 97% in the third cut-off.
However, colleges like
Daulat Ram, Miranda and Ramjas closed admissions for these courses. After the second cut-off list even B.Com (Programme) was closed for admissions in many colleges.
Gargi College will continue its admission process with 93.5% marks as its cut-off for B.Com (Programme).
