The Founder’s Day Celebration at Mody University kick started on January 22, 2015 with Lakshmi-Yajna in the morning, followed by Shri Ram Katha by Swami Rajeshwaranand Saraswati of Jhansi and was attended by Mr. R.P. Mody, founder of Mody University, and other dignitaries.
The event marked the inauguration of Mody School Exhibition by the collector of Sikar district and the chief guest Mr. L.N. Soni. Through the exhibition the Art and Craft section showcase the lives of Lord Krishna and Gautam Buddha through vivid portraits. Praising the institutes effort the Chief Guest hopped that Mody University would create a milestone in international level for imparting value-based education.
A special session was held by the co-founder of Ekal Foundation, Mrs. Manju Srivastava, on the topic ‘Beyond the Concrete Jungle’. The works of Ekal Foundation was showcased through a short movie and also interacted with students.
A three-hour cultural programme in the evening was there where Management, Law, and Arts, Science and Commerce students put up stellar performances in a host of activities to mark the end of the day. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the all dignitaries including Dr. Vishwanath (Vish) Prasad, President of Mody University.
