Eligibility Criteria for Government engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh
To be eligible for admission in the Government engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh, the candidate should be an Indian National or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card holders.
The student should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Andhra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination. The student must have obtained 25 percent score in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, along with their ranking in the any of the respective all India level common entrance examinations. Moreover, the category-wise admission criteria is followed, so the candidates belonging to a particular category (General, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Other Backward Classes) must have attained the minimum qualifying mark as prescribed under the admission form.
