About GTU:

Gujarat Technological University or GTU was established vide Government of Gujarat legislature act no 20 of 2007, dated May 16, 2007. The university offers various courses like MBA, MCA, M.E., M. Pharm and P.D.D.C.

GTU conducts a common entrance exam, Gujarat Common Entrance Test for admission  to its various courses. The whole admission process is held online for students. The admission process for academic year 2012-13 in GTU began in the month of June. The first entrance test was held from June 14, 2012 to June 16, 2012. The second entrance test was held from June 18, 2012 to June 20, 2012. The merit list was declared on July 10, 2012 while the online list for first round of counselling commenced from July 11, 2012.

The second round of display of online counselling list for admission in Gujarat Technical University’s various courses was held from July 17, 2012 to July 19, 2012 while the result was published online on July 23, 2012.

The students can now apply for modification of choices. The online schedule for counselling and modification of preferences is given below:
