Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad conducted a guest session with the motive to guide the students. The session was delivered by Expert Speaker, Mr. Himanshu Talwar, Director PRCF, Delhi on April 16, 2014, on the topic International Business: Scope & Avenues.

 

In today’s global village, many businesses are looking forward to expand in the International market; therefore, careers in International Business are likely to grow at a faster, than the normal, rate. From Banks to Manufacturing firms to Government agencies, almost all industries have a demand for people with a background in International Business. It opens up opportunities for a career in all areas of business and management within organisations operating in an International Environment.

 

The audience was a mix of BBA and BCA final year students. The session started with the welcome address proposed by Ms. Shivani Dixit. 

 

Mr. Talwar gave great insights into International Business and its aspects. He supported his ideas with lots of live examples which created an interactive session amongst the students. He emphasizes on the role of International Business/ FDI/ODI/in fostering jobs and business opportunities and has also explained the present trend of International Business in India. He has also explained the kind of skill set required for the International Business graduates.

 

Students were really overwhelmed by the inputs given by Mr. Talwar. At the end Dr. B.P Pethiya, Director IMS UC facilitated the guest with a token of gratitude and vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Ruchika Jeswal, Programme Chairperson MIB.
