Delhi University offers admission to students excelling not only academically but also to those good in sports. In this regard a Fitness Test is conducted at
Hindu College for the students willing to take admission under sport quota. Test is scheduled today on
June 20, 2014 at Delhi University Polo Ground.
This time University has reserved 5% seats for all colleges for those seeking admission in the combined category of sports and extracurricular activities (ECA) on supernumerary basis.
"Admission will be based on sports trials which will have a maximum of 50 marks and sports certificates, also having a maximum of 50 marks. A minimum of 18 marks must be scored by the candidate in sports trials," joint dean of students' welfare Malay Neerav said in a reputed daily.
DU also has the provision for direct admission by the college without trial provided the student should have represented the coutry in any international level games like
