There are various national and state level exams held for admission in B. Tech. IITs have their ‘JEE’ (Joint Entrance Exam) while other institutes have their own tests. AIEEE is another important exam. Besides this, there are state level exams as well like WBJEE, KCET, KOMETK etc. Some of the other top institutes also recognise JEE scores for selection. For PG courses (M.E / M.Tech), the IITs conduct GATE and JNU conducts an ‘All India Combined Entrance exam’.
