IBSAT Exam Pattern – IBSAT is a computer-based examination that is conducted every year by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Studies for admission in the different ICFAI Business Schools. It is a 2-hour test, which consists of four different sections:

1. Verbal Ability
2. Reading Comprehension
3. Quantitative Aptitude
4. Data Sufficiency and Data Interpretation

IBSAT Exam Pattern2020:

This test is conducted in different locations across India. The paper consists of 125 multiple choice questions with no negative marking.

IBSAT Syllabus 2020:

As per the IBSAT Exam Pattern, the syllabus is as follows-

Verbal Ability:

This section consists of a total of 50 questions. This section is quite lengthy and time taking and it checks the command the candidate has on his/her vocabulary and skills and knowledge about the English Language.

Reading Comprehension:

In this section, three passages are given and around seven to eight questions are framed around each passage. Here the questions are direct and they require factual answers. This is the section where the candidate is most likely to score well. This section will have 25 questions.

Quantitative Aptitude:

This section is designed to check the mathematical skills of the candidate. Questions are asked from:

• Arithmetic Problems
• Coordinate Geometry
• Geometry
• Discount
• Mensuration
• Percentages
• Probability

The above-mentioned list includes only some topics. Several other similar topics are covered under this section. This section will have 25 questions.

Data Sufficiency and Data Interpretation:

This section includes questions from three topics:

• Logical Reasoning- 5 questions
• Data Sufficiency- 15 questions
• Data Interpretation - 5 questions

The IBSAT 2020 will be conducted in December 2020 and the results will be announced in January 2020. Selection briefing will commence post the announcement of results in January 2020.
